ETH Globe: Computer Science focus of new edition
The Department of Computer Science celebrated the 25th
anniversary of the computer science curriculum from 20 through 29
October 2006 by hosting a "Computer Science Day" as well as
an exhibition open to the public.
On Friday, 20 October, the event series kicked off with a number of podium discussions on pioneer work, the collaboration between ETH and the industry as well as current research topics.
The great exhibition - consisting of demos, talks, discussion
rounds, games, science movies and tours leading visitors into the
world of computer science - lasted from 21 October through 29
October.
